PUBLIC NOTICE

Please take note that pursuant to Section 13, The Municipalities Act the R.M. of Cote No. 271 intends to consider the initial report on a proposed bylaw to close and lease the following municipal road(s) or portion of road allowance(s) to NCC Nykolaishen Farms Inc and Monette Farms Ltd for the purpose of agricultural farm land for a five-year period commencing March 1, 2024 to February 28, 2029:

1. The municipal road allowance between NE quarter of section 01, township 29, range 33 west of the 1st meridian and SE section 12, township 29, range 33 west of the 1st meridian.

2. The municipal road allowance between NE quarter of section 01, township 29, range 33 west of the 1st meridian and NW section 06, township 29, range 32 west of the 1st meridian.

3. The municipal road allowance between NE quarter of section 29, township 28, range 30 west of the 1st meridian and NW section 29, township 28, range 30 west of the 1st meridian.

Any person claiming to be affected prejudicially by the proposed bylaw or that person’s agent has the opportunity to be heard at the next regular meeting of council to be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the rural municipal office at 528 Third Ave. S, Kamsack, SK commencing at 1:00 p.m.
