The FIRE BAN has been LIFTED in the RM of Cote as of Tuesday May 25, 2021.
Even though parts of the RM received over 2" of rain, the water table is still quite low, and it is still dangerous to start fires in the field, in the bush, and at home. If you are burning in the field, please take safe burning measures, make an adequate fire guard, and call the Controlled Burn line at 1-866-404-4911.

A fire ban has been declared in the RM of Cote #271 due to extreme dry conditions. This order prohibits the setting of any type of fire - whether it is in the field or the fire pit. It only takes one spark. Let's all do our part to keep our municipality safe.
NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT ROLL R.M. OF COTE NO. 271
Notice is hereby given that the assessment roll for the R.M. of Cote No. 271 for the year of 2021 has been prepared and is open to inspection in the office of the assessor from 8am-noon and 1-4pm on the following days: Monday to Friday, March 19, 2021 to May 20, 2021.
A bylaw pursuant to section 214 of The Municipalities Act has been passed and the assessment notices have been sent as required. Any person who wishes to appeal against his or her assessment is required to file his or her notice of appeal, accompanied by a $100.00 appeal fee which will be returned if the appeal is successful, with: The Assessor, R.M. of Cote No. 271, Box 669, Kamsack, SK S0A 1S0 by the 20th day of May 2021.
