Seasonal Employment Opportunity

The R.M. of Cote No. 271 is accepting applications for a seasonal, full-time employee.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operating a tractor and mower.

• Installing signs, culverts, etc.

• Ability to work with other employees and work alone safely.

• Ability to take direction from the foreman.

• Mechanical skills would be an asset.

• Certifications in PME, WHMIS, would be an asset or the candidate is willing to obtain.

• A willingness to participate in professional development

The R.M. offers a benefit package (after a three-month probationary period) and a municipal employee’s pension plan. A valid drivers license is necessary.

 NEWS FROM SASKATCHEWAN ASSOCIATION OF WATERSHEDS!

2. We also have a fundraising lottery on now where two lucky winners will each win a week at Waskesiu and $5000 cash.  Tickets are going fast so don’t miss out!  Lottery | Saskatchewan Association of Watersheds (saskwatersheds.ca)

 

3. We are also continuing to deliver the Prairie Watersheds Climate Program (PWCP) and we had several requests at SARM convention as to how to easily share information on this program with producers and rate payers.  I have attached a one page document that you are welcome to share publicly, insert with tax notices, or however you see fit.  You can also find your local SAW Coordinator for support with PWCP, at https://saskwatersheds.ca/pwcp-coordinators/ and search our online database by Rural Municipality.

The afternoon of Monday, March 13th  to Thursday, March 16th for the SARM convention in Saskatoon.

The office will be open Friday, March 17th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
